"Gazes unflinchingly at it's subject...The book to read! "    Nashville Tenneseean

"... Done with great respect and humor and just enough down-and-dirty detail...
Worth the price of admission ... Cline's life was a country song - laughing on the outside,
crying on the inside."

New York Daily News

“Patsy Cline is the undisputed queen of Hillbilly Heaven...[Honky Tonk Angel]
poignantly chronicles her journey from planet Earth all the way to the Pearly Gates...
A fascinating trip and a fascinating read.”

Daily Post (U.K.)

"This thoroughly researched book manages to capture the raw elements that
went into making Cline the entertainer she was - and to his credit,
Nassour doesn't try to paint her over in shades of gold...
it provides insight into a woman who was certainly one of the most unusual
and talented performers to come out of country music in any decade...
"

Billboard

"...Patsy would be overjoyed to see the great job you've done with your website
to keep her memory alive! A true Patsy Cline -and Ellis Nassour- fan,"

Robert Poppie, Bay St. Louis, MS

"No Patsy Cline fan on this planet does not own Ellis Nassour's biography.
It was the first and will always be considered THE definitive biography about her long
after we are all gone, and it's one of the prime reasons Patsy's legacy will continue."

In Memoriam
Carrie Lee McNeil

Vancouver, Canada
1961 - 2008
We began corresponding on publication of my first Patsy bio.  Carrie Lee was the ultimate Patsy fan,
and special  in many ways. In spite of many challenges, because of a lifetime of illnesses,  she was
a tireless promoter of  country music and the legacy of Patsy Cline. No one could ask for a more valued
and true friend. God bless her determination and spunk.
